The 2-G
This is one of the most complex covers
in the Qzar realm. The 2G is a more complex version
of the cradle. If you're not familiar with the
cradle, read the article "Basic Guide to
Covering" before reading this article. With
most covers, you walk sideways and cover only one laser
sensor and keep you back to walls...blahblahblah
This is a bit more invloved. Put the laser in front
of you with the barrel pointing up toward your chin, but
keep it low enough that the base of the laser is in front
of you front sensor. Now put a forearm on each side
of the laser, so they cover both side sensors (this will
take some practice to make it tight). This is very
useful when playing in close proximity to a skilled
player (like... a few feet) I designed this cover
for one major purpose, headquarter hits. I many
Qzar arenas, the headquarters in a circular area which
you must shoot up at the sensor to deactivate it.
Get youself inside the heqadquarters crouch with you
knees in front of you.
This will help to cover your front sensor, with your
arms covering both sides of the laser and your back
against a wall... you should only be vulnerable in one
spot, down the barrel. Take the first two fingers
of either hand of cover that tunnel down the barrel,
making you invincible! When you fire, be sure you
move your fingers out of the way quickly so you infared
can pass out the barrel. This is incredibly
usefull... but VERY difficult to master so PRACTICE
PRACTICE PRACTICE!
